State Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwar defended the govt action against pro-Kannada fighters

State Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwar has hit back at Kannada Rakshana Vedike State President Narayana Gowda who has warned that he will teach Siddaramaiah-led Congress government in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Responding to the media, Parameshwar said, "Congress has learned enough lessons after ruling for 70 years. There is nothing left to learn.

Attacking shopping malls is not right. The home minister has defended his government's action saying that the police have taken the right decision when the law is taken up.

The BBMP has suggested that commercial outlets in Bengaluru should use 60 percent Kannada compulsorily and has given a deadline till today. The Kannada Rakshana Vedike(Karave) has hit the streets and warned the business shop to change its nameplate. Meanwhile, the pro-Kannada fighters, who took the fight to an extreme level yesterday, had decided to tear down the English nameplate and smear it with ink.
